The photograph is taken at the stone circle at Milton Keynes. This is a modern stone circle however even though the circle may not be ancient the stones still are and it still has a wonderful energy. I love to just go over there and sit for a while, there is a beautiful peace pagoda and Buddhist temple in the same park so the whole area has a really calm and restful quality to it.  The design of the Milton Keynes stone circle draws on the North American Medicine Wheel as well as ancient British stone circles. The circle has four  gateways which represent the four compass points, the seasons, and the four elements. The two entrances on the outer circle are aligned along a Ley line which runs along some of the major boulevards in Milton Keynes and on towards Buckingham via an ancient burial mound at Thornborough.

Trust in your magnificence, ancient stone circle

Trust in your magnificence and your inner strength. You can achieve all that you want to; connect into your inner power.

As I've written before, I adore stone circles! This was a stone circle on a very rainy day on Dartmoor! Everyone was soaked through, I had to buy new shoes but it was worth it! Yes, I can hear you say, good excuse!! The energy and power in these sacred places is wonderful, our ancestors were so in touch with the energy that lies under our feet. There are 14 stone circles in Dartmoor in total so it is well worth a visit if you are in the area. "The stone circles  are 'free standing' examples which tend to be well-spaced and surround a flat area. Unlike many other regions there are virtually no associated ditches, banks, mounds or pillars which places them in a separate group all together." http://www.legendarydartmoor.co.uk/stone-circ.htm

A wonderful grounding exercise is to imagine you are as strong as one of these magnificent stones, you have weathered the ages and you are standing strong for all to see!  Connect to your inner power and trust in your inner strength, you are magnificent!

The best and most beautiful things, Glastonbury Tor

This is one of my favourite places in the world, Glastonbury Tor. Often described as the heart centre of the world, the Tor has a unique and amazing energy.  The Tor lies on the intersection of several ley lines including the famous St Michael's ley line. The alignment of the St Michael's line is connected through many ancient sites named after St. Michael and St. George. The tor also possesses two aquifers underneath it which in turn feed to the red spring and the white spring. The water from these springs, said to be representative of female and male energies, feels truly magickal to drink or to use in any blessings you carry out.  Throughout time the Tor has been a very spiritual place, most notably the legend of King Arthur. You can feel the energy of the tor and it is a wonderful place to feel grounded and in touch with the universe. I always feel like my internal battery has been re-charge after a visit to this magickal place. 

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be touched, they must be felt with your heart.  Blessings, Alison
