I love this quote, and the heart in the tree is real, not photo-shopped! Just shows us how love is all around us in nature.
I was also reminded by my daughter today that doing a good deed for someone releases the same chemical, i.e dopamine that you get when you have a bar of chocolate. So for the price of a bar of chocolate, helping out a friend in need gives you the same feeling and it's calorie free!
They have even produced research on this: "It apparently triggers the same reward mechanisms in the brain as giving ourselves a treat.
Researchers conducted brain scans on 20 women as they provided moral support while their partner was given painful electric shocks.
Their study found that women who comforted boyfriends who were in pain showed increased blood flow to areas of the brain associated with reward.
This was apparently triggered by the release of the feel-good chemical dopamine that is more usually associated with chocolate treats"

So next time you want to reach for that bar of chocolate, phone a friend who is going through a hard time and you will still get that dopamine hit, plus both you and your friend will feel a lot better!!
blessings and love to you all, Alison xx
