What does it mean to be a Pagan?
This is a lovely description of Paganism that I have come across, Edain McCoy sums it up pretty well I think.
When one defines oneself as Pagan, it means she or he follow an earth or nature religion, one that sees the divine manifest in all creation. The cycles of nature are our holy days, the earth is our temple, it's plants and creatures our partners and teachers.
We worship a deity that is both male and female, a mother Goddess and father God, who together created all that is,was or will be.
We respect life, cherish the free will of sentient beings and accept the sacredness of all creation. Edain McCoy.
I am a Pagan and I enjoy walking my own path. I have learnt so much from mother nature since I started my journey and there is still so much more to learn. All beings on this earth deserve our love and attention for this is a special planet that we live on, our Mother Earth, Gaia and we need to love and protect her. This photograph I took on a beautiful frosty day last year, one of those magickal days that reminds you how amazing this world is and that we are so lucky to be able to experience all the wonder around us.
Which path do you walk?
blessings to you xxx
