You have it easily in your power to increase the sum total of this world's happiness now.Inspirational Quote Dale Carnegie

Inspirational Quote Dale Carnegie
"You have it easily in your power to increase the sum total of this world's happiness now. How? By giving a few words of sincere appreciation to someone who is lonely or discourage. Perhaps you will forget tomorrow the kind words you say today but the recipient may cherish them over a lifetime" Dale Carnegie.

Words have power, real power, something you say that may be just seem like a throw away comment to you can have a lasting affect to someone's day, week or life. Words have power so choose and use them wisely. A kind word given is never a kind word wasted. Even to a perfect stranger, a kind word is always a gift to be given freely with nothing expected in return. A few more smiles and a little more kindness can make a difference in this world we live in.

Dale Carnegie is author of How to Win Friends and Influence People This is a fabulous book on how to get out of a mental rut and make life more rewarding. Amazon

Dale Carnegie has lots of fabulous quotes on the subject of happiness and gratitude. A lot of his words are really good at making you think about what you have already and encouraging gratitude for that. He allows you to see the importance of happiness and how that can be achieved. Another of my favourite quote of Carnegie's is “One reason why birds and horses are not unhappy is because they are not trying to impress other birds and horses.”  So true! Why do we human beings feel we need to impress other human beings. Does that make us at all happy?

Happiness and sparkles to you all, Alison xxx
